Apocrine Neoplasms – Apocrine Gland Carcinoma

May 2nd, 2011

Apocrine Gland Carcinoma is very rare and fortunately I do not encounter it often in my The Woodlands dermatology and Conroe dermatology offices.  Typically, Apocrine Gland Carcinoma appears as a deep mass in the anogenital area or axilla (armpits).  It is very aggressive as up to 50% of cases have metastasis.
