Hidrocystomas are very common eccrine neoplasms (sweat gland tumors) that I encounter frequently in both my The Woodlands dermatology and Conroe dermatology clinics.  Hidrocystomas are benign flesh colored papules that may have a bluish appearance.  Hidrocystomas are most often found in women.  They are most often found around the eyelids and can be clinically mistaken for Basal Cell Cancers.  Hidrocystomas have a cystic cavity and will drain a clear liquid when incised.  They can be treated with excision or laser destruction
