Eccrine Neoplasms – Aggressive Digital Papillary Adenocarcinoma

Aggressive Digital Papillary Adenocarcinoma is a very aggressive skin cancer that I fortunately rarely encounter in both my The Woodlands dermatology and Conroe dermatology clinics.  The most common location to find an Aggressive Digital Papillary Adenocarcinoma is on the finger between the nail plate and the distal interphalangeal joint.  Clinically, these cancers resemble a flesh colored small cystic nodule.  It is most commonly seen in middle age males.  The lungs is the most common site that an Aggressive Digital Papillary Adenocarcinoma will metastasize.  The treatment is surgical excision.
