Dupuytren Contracture is a very common skin condition I encounter in both my The Woodlands dermatology and Conroe dermatology offices.  Dupuytren Contracture occurs when the palmar aponuerosis becomes very fibrotic and thick which appears as nodules on the palmar aspect of the hand.  It is most common in men and with time can lead to a disabling contracture of the hand.  In some patients, intralesional kenalog injections may be beneficial but in some cases surgical excision is necessary.Dupuytren contracture | perri dermatology
